Observations:

In July 2021 first time my portfolio exceeded $800K, since that time 25 months has passed and this is third time when I am above $800K. However, the highest net worth was in March 2022 at $838 K.

The young people have been let down twice in western Europe during ultra-low inflation and mortgage rates the housing prices propelled and yet, following 2008-09 recession many where out of work.  Retirement as distant as ever. Textbooks urge discipline. Let compounding do the rest. On the other hand, one in four people in the UK have less than £100 in savings. People with mortgage have household income of £75,000 while less than £5,000 in savings.

Fun Fact: Average person spends more time buying a car than managing their investments, however confidence doesn’t decline in line with ability.
