Observations:
Eurozone and EUR are a bit shook up as people rejecting country run by business-controlled president Macron.
I was reading Wall Street Journal column about their ex-editor retirement. Actually, he hasn’t really retired as now posts are all over internet and he still has a column at the journal. He was describing cycling in Japan and enjoying the food there. They are seemingly bored and don’t know what to do, as the his wife describes: “….Portugal? Been there. Paragliding? Done that. Scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef? Check. Next.”
I have another 20+ before “normal” retirement age but I don’t think I will be able to draw a pig pension. Just now my Growth Fund forecasted that on £64 K today my pension would be around $500 a month. Going by that logic all my portfolio will generate about $5 K a month, another $1K will come from the government. Nothing luxurious but I will be quite contempt since I am not spending this money now on myself (assuming that the kids are independent and mortgage is paid). This assumes no additional contributions but no withdrawals as well.
