the sounds of it I need to look closer at my utilities company shares, as the
end consumer prices are almost three times higher for what Gazprom sells it in
continental Europe. The expenditures are
next to nothing – only distribution network and sales department.
In
overall the year was rather expensive, while I feel that we maintained almost
the same lifestyle, apart from the trip to an exotic destination.
In
the next post I will try to compare our 2012 family budget with the four
previous years.
That's not bad since you have kids and all. I know plenty of families who even spend beyond their means. The important thing is to keep the gap between earnings vs expenses consistent or growing over time, and make sure your investments are allocated properly. By the way, when do we get to see another portfolio update.
ReplyDeleteHi Liquid.
DeleteThank you for stopping by. We can not really afford to live beyond our means. We still aim to put some money aside. I want that financial independence so desperate. The portfolio update will be out on Saturday this week.
Here you list medical insurance at only $1200 but on my blog you posted it was $15k?
ReplyDeleteHi mOOm,
DeleteThe reason why is that medical insurance is heavily subsidies by the employer. I go private and he picks up the cost, while I still pay deductibles. Some things are excluded from the medical plan as well.
