December 2020 Financial Independence update

Observations:
The year is over.  I complete with 15% gain for the portfolio or $85K. I took away $24K savings for this calculation.
The only looser is Eurozone market.  The EU is now between rock and hard place. They are unable compete with the USA as missing technology and growth companies, while very bureaucratic and expensive.  This makes them loosing to the emerging markets aka BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China).
This still feels unreal. There is global pandemic, people sat at home for 9 months and yet the markets grew so much.

Fun Fact: Martha Washington is the only woman to appear on a U.S. currency note.  She was on paper money back in 1886, 1891, and 1896. Since then, no woman has been featured on paper money.
